Melamine foam / Basotect

Basotect is a good acoustic insulator that is above all used because it is lightweight and resistant to high temperatures.

This melamine foam has the following properties:

  • Good acoustic absorption
  • Lightweight
  • Constant physical properties at changing temperatures (-200° C/+ 240° C)
  • Thermal insulator
  • Flame retardant
